Your Writings Wanted? Food For Thought
Collaborative INSIGHTS Readers,
The Alaska Historical Society (AHS) is preparing for its annal conference this September 26-29 in Homer, Alaska . This year's theme, Food For Thought: The Role of Food and Nutrition in Alaska's Past, should provide opportunity for some interesting papers. You may read more and obtain a call for papers flyer, and information about AHS's Student Travel Award. Please take time to pass these items on to your faculty, students, or any interested participant. We especially encourage students and professionals just entering the field to get involved, for AHS is a wonderful opportunity for budding scholars and practitioners to exchange ideas with senior historians and experience the satisfaction of sharing their own research with others. For more information, please visit our website at http://alaskahistoricalsociety.org/.
Thank you,
Katherine Johnson Ringsmuth, Program Chair
