Truly Fresh Galley Fare
credit: Captain Barry King
Crewmembers from the Schooner Mary Day pick up lobster, right from the boat. Talk about fresh!

From seafood and garden veggies to breads and desserts, the award-winning chefs in the Maine Windjammer Association are always cooking up something fresh… find out more.

Special Diet? Welcome Aboard!
With advance warning, the Maine Windjammer Association cooks have no problem accommodating special diets.
On-Shore Dining
Boarding night is cooks-night-off, so after getting settled in, guests are on their own for dinner. Fortunately Camden and Rockland offer a wide range of restaurants, from down-home cooking to James Beard Award-winning establishments.
Real Maine Food Cookbook launch!
Springtime is for launching…boats and cookbooks! Recipes from the Schooner American Eagle were featured in a newly-released cookbook produced by Luke’s Lobster, a company with 14 locations throughout the Northeast.
End of the Day
Crewmembers from the Schooner Isaac H. Evans prepare a beachside lobsterbake at the end of the day.
