Sail Into A Glorious Autumn with a Windjammer Cruise

Courtesy Lewis R. French
Fall is what New England is all about: crisp temperatures, glorious sunshine and steady breezes. What better way to celebrate autumn’s arrival than to enjoy a fabulous cruise aboard Maine’s windjammers?

WoodenBoat Sail-In
This September 9th, the fleet will gather at the WoodenBoat School where guests can view a dozen wooden ships in their element and catch a glimpse of the artistry required to keep them afloat.
Fresh From the Galley - New Twist on an Old Favorite
Every fall, a new crop of delicious Maine apples ushers in a flurry of apple pies, sauces and fritters. In honor of this crisp, tangy and famous fruit, we’re offering up variations on the traditional apple pie from the award-winning chefs of the Maine Windjammer Association.
Start of the Day
Captain Kip Files, newly back from sailing in Southern New England waters aboard the Charles W. Morgan, captures a sunrise over Rockland Harbor.
