MWA Launches Schooner Kids Program

credit: Meg Maiden
This month, the Maine sailing community got its next generation of sailors on the water via Schooner Kids, a new program that partners teen sailors with Maine’s historic windjammers.

Back-to-Back cruises = Two Weeks of Heaven!
Windjammer cruises normally last from 2 to 6 days but for some guests, that’s just not long enough. Back-to-back cruises mean double the relaxation and twice as much fun! Three “back-to-backers” explain why they made the shift to multi-cruise vacations…
FRESH FROM THE GALLEY: Shellfish from Maine!
While lobsters are the superstars of Maine seafood, Maine’s unpolluted coastline and cold waters provide shelter for all kinds of shellfish including clams, scallops and oysters.
End of the Day
A regular guest aboard Schooner Heritage, Dick Loehr captured this amazing sunset on Eggemoggin Reach this June. Look closely and you'll see the Deer Isle Bridge off in the distance.
