Sail Away Over Memorial Day

Camden Windjammers Angelique and Lewis R. French are both offering 3-day cruises over Memorial Day Weekend.

Memorial Day Weekend…summer’s soft opening. Those magical three days that conjure up visions of fun in the sun, outdoor adventures and hanging out with friends under the stars. Maybe even a campfire or barbecue. You can find all that, and more, aboard a Maine windjammer this Memorial Day Weekend!

Be the first to sail away on the Schooner American Eagle this Memorial Day Weekend!

Four windjammers in Camden and Rockland are getting the jump on the sailing season, offering 3-day adventures starting at $595 per person. Check out American Eagle, Angelique and Lewis R. French’s schedules—they’re all boarding Friday night, May 26, and returning by noon on Memorial Day, May 29th. If you can slip away for longer, check out Stephen Taber’s 4-day Wine, Dine and Chocolate cruise May 25-29.

The rest of the fleet will be in full swing by early June, offering trips ranging from overnights to 10-day cruises right up until mid October. Many guests opt for the early-season cruises because the harbors are quiet, the days are long, and the seal rookeries are full of baby pups.

Kick off the 2017 Sailing Season this Memorial Day Weekend with overnight cruises that include great sailing, cozy cabins, activities, shore trips and home-cooked meals. There’s even a barbecue…featuring Maine lobster! For more info, visit our website.
