Several dozen windjammers and excursion boats participate in the annual Camden Windjammer Festival over Labor Day Weekend. Itís a great chance for windjammer guests to combine a relaxing vacation with a maritime celebration thatís fun for all ages.

Friday, September 4 at noon is the official start of the Camden Windjammer Festival. Thatís when the first of the windjammers start to parade into the harbor. There are also plenty of afternoon activities taking place on shore ranging from sail-making, woodstove cooking and planking demonstrations to bollard line tossing and a concert by Bay Winds North Wind Ensemble.
