Last-Minute Cruising Its Never Too Late to Book

Blue skies and fresh breezes are usually the hallmarks of the September sailing season.

There’s nothing like a last-minute getaway – make a quick call, pack a bag and you’re off. For Maine windjammer passengers, a last-minute getaway offers a real escape from the hustle and bustle of the workaday world. September cruises typically offer the best sailing breezes and most of the windjammers offer fall foliage cruises through Columbus Day Weekend.

Lunch is served underway and usually features soups, stews and freshly baked biscuits, like these poppy seed biscuits.

Most cruises offer an opportunity to explore the tiny villages hugging Maine's coast.

2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-day cruises are still available for the 2013 sailing season. In order to book a last-minute once-in-a-lifetime cruise with one of Maine’s windjammers visit our website.
