Rockland, Maine, was recently named one of the Top Ten Coolest Small Towns in America, and the National Historic Trust has placed it among its Top Twelve Distinctive Destinations; these distinguished titles are extra plaudits for a town that has already earned its reputation for being both the Windjammer Capital of the World and the Lobster Capital of the World. Rockland is the happening scene for vacationers in 2010 and you’re going to want to make plans for your windjammer vacation soon so you can be a part of it!
The Maine Windjammer Association can help you get the most from your vacation in the “rockin’ Rockland” area with our several Vacation Packages. First offered in 2009, our packages combine a unique sailing experience with other delightful features of Mid-Coast Maine; they proved to be so enthusiastically enjoyed that we are offering them again—along with some new packages!
