In honor of the Center’s first decade of bringing theater, music, dance and other cultural events to Mountain View and the Bay Area, the Center’s Community Marketing Committee is hosting a very special Anniversary Event on Saturday, August 11, 2001.
Everyone is invited to a FREE afternoon of fun, festivities, food and of course, fantastic performances from more than 20 different performing arts organizations.
This not-to-be-missed, showcase event takes place from 11 am to 4 pm and is presented by the City of Mountain View and sponsored in part by the San Jose Mercury News, Bank of Los Altos and TishmanSpeyer Properties. Performances will take place on the Center’s MainStage, SecondStage, ParkStage and Plaza. The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts is located on the corner of Castro and Mercy streets in downtown Mountain View. There’s plenty of free parking available, either in the Center’s underground garage or in the many downtown lots.
