Learn About the Ancient Art of Feng Shui at the July WIB

Join your friends and colleagues for the Chamber’s July 10 Women in Business Luncheon featuring guest speaker, Linda Lenore, a Keynote Speaker, Consultant, Trainer and Author who promises to deliver a dynamic presentation about the ancient art of Feng Shui.

Feng Shui is a 4000-year-old philosophy/science/art that examines the relationship between people, their lives and their environment. It respects the personality and individuality of the person who occupies a dwelling-be it a home or work space-and shares an insight into the psychological impact the environment plays on one’s life.

Lenore believes this predominately Asian philosophy can help the Western culture learn and experience new tools to help us cope with many of our daily challenges without jeopardizing our own heritage. When understood, this information can build strong bridges to link Western businesses with their Pacific Rim clientele and the expanding global community.

According to Lenore, “In our High-Tech, Information-Age World, there is more need than ever before to create peaceful, harmonious environments. Using the principles of Feng Shui, buildings are brought into harmony with the land they occupy, furnishings are brought into harmony with the buildings, and all of these are viewed in relationship to the occupants. We’re working on an energetic level that the ancients of many cultures have understood, yet have been lost to our current Western society.”

Linda Lenore believes in the human potential, that we are here on this beautiful planet Earth to bring love and joy into the lives of people we meet.

As a keynote speaker she inspires audiences to find the “pearl of great price” in their life to help them through transitions while she integrates knowledge of cultural beliefs and stories of real life; hers and others. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), National Speakers Association (NSA), Ozark Research Institute (ORI), an affiliate member of ASID, and a 1998 graduate of Redwood City/San Carlos/Belmont Leadership.

The Women in Business Luncheon is held on the second Tuesday of every month from 11:45am to 1:15pm at Michael’s at Shoreline, 2960 N. Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View. The cost is $23 for Chamber members and $30 for prospective members. RSVP to the Chamber by Friday, July 6.
