Chamber Promotes Debbie Villa to Chief Operating Officer
Congratulations to Debbie Villa, for her promotion to the position of Chief Operating Officer for the Chamber of Commerce. Villa has worked at the Chamber of Commerce for eight years, and has held positions as Public Information Officer, Event Coordinator and most recently Vice President, Membership Development.

“I am thrilled to be working with Debbie as Chief Operating Officer,” said President and CEO of the Chamber, Carol Olson, “She knows virtually every aspect of our organization and will be a real asset for the Chamber in her new role. With her 8 years of experience with our organization and her enthusiasm for the Chamber and our members, she will undoubtedly provide effective leadership that will keep our programs and services fresh and effective.”

Along with her responsibilities as Vice President and Membership Development, Villa has worked with the Women in Business Program, Celebration of Leaders, the annual Chamber Directory and official City Map, the Business Building Network, the Success Advisory Board for home-based businesses, Ambassador committee, Rotary, Rotary Board of Directors and is a graduate of the 1995 Leadership Mountain View class.

“I am really looking forward to the challenge of this new position,” said Villa, “The Chamber is an integral part of Mountain View and it is exciting to be at the hub of community and business involvement.”
