The Optimist Soccer League of Winston-Salem recently gave back to the community by collecting canned food during the month of April. A total of 1700 canned goods were donated. The soccer players brought the food to the games and filled two Modern Automotive vans which were then taken to local food banks. WXII did an on-site news report on the food drive. Modern Automotive was pleased to join in the event and has been Optimist Soccer's title sponsor for three years running.
