As a member of the MIT/CRE community, you have free to access MITREX -- the MIT Real Estate Exchange.
Developed for Center graduates, partners, students, and staff, MITREX is a powerful resource for mining and contributing to a wealth of knowledge on real estate theory and practice, as well as for growing your connections with the real estate community.
The MITREX Advantage
MITREX brings key information to real estate professionals. Compiling research results, market data, graduate theses, case studies, presentations, and more, MITREX gathers important data on the built environment into a central online library. But MITREX is also a gathering place -- letting real estate practitioners, researchers, and students network across traditional boundaries.
The New MITREX
MITREX was first launched May 15, 2004, providing members with a comprehensive knowledge base and a secure networking environment. With its new 2.0 release, MITREX brings an even more robust suite of features and functionalities:
· Extensive knowledge library. MITREX’s catalog of information covers every conceivable real estate function -- from planning and design, to development, construction, brokerage, economics, investment, management, and the law. Users can focus on eight different property types and nine different regions, both nationally and internationally. Library resources include documents, links, people, authors, companies, jobs, and updates.
· Career development. Members can find and post job listings, resumes, and professional updates.
· Advanced sort and search. Data search tools let members sort levels and sublevels of information using a variety of parameters.
· Networking. MITREX facilitates contact between consenting members, while ensuring each member's desired level of privacy
· Enhanced navigation. Streamlined Nav features and icons bring fast access to property types, regions, topics, and resources.
· Homepage & layout. Each member's homepage compiles the most recent and popular job listings, links, and documents.
