INTERNATIONAL ENROLLMENT JUMPS IN CLASS OF 2008

The Center welcomes its incoming Class of 2008 –  40 students (drawn from a pool of 110 applicants) admitted to MIT/CRE's flagship program, the Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED).  The group is a remarkably diverse mix, with international enrollment increasing to 38%.

As the number of alums grows, facilitating communication becomes critical. We want to make sure that all graduates feel that their relationship with the Center is alive and growing, and that our commitment to them is lifelong.

RECORD YEAR FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES!

PDC Enrollment Hits Record High! Enrollment in this summer’s professional development program broke 500 for the first time in the Center's history. In its 23rd year, the PDC series brought 508 attendees to campus in June and July, a 35% increase over 2006. This new peak was due both to a successful turnout in 2006 – a year where 377 attended the PDCs – and to a targeted outreach effort early in 2007.

Classes of '87 & '97 – Plan Now for Reunion! With Alumni/ae Reunion Weekend barely a month away, now is the time for Class of '87 and '97 grads to mark their calendars. Reunions like these come only once every 10 years, and in that time classmates can make surprising life and career changes. Get the latest – come see what everyone's been up to. Link up with fellow alums, learn the latest in real estate research, and celebrate with the new grads! Area alums are invited to meet members of the Class of 2008 on Thursday, September 20th from 7:30pm until 9pm.  The reception will be held at MIT.  They are a great group and this a wonderful opportunity for you to meet them.  Keep an eye on the Events section of our website for details regarding the reception location.
