SUSTAINABILITY SYMPOSIUM
The AACRE is planning a Sustainability Symposium the morning of Friday May 11th. Environmentally sustainable (or green) development is becoming increasingly mainstream in the real estate industry and the growing awareness of sustainability echoes the increasing concern of the environmental impact, the spiraling cost of energy, and the mounting evidence of the financial, health, and other benefits of building green. This symposium will explore how operators, investors and developers of commercial real estate might begin to think about how to incorporate the costs and benefits of sustainable building into the pricing or valuation of a building, and how to maintain, renovate and build with sustainability in mind. Our goal is to have the symposium at other locations across the country on the same day, San Francisco, Atlanta, DC and New York are the targets, email astrong@newbostonfund.com if you want to do something in your city!

VOLUNTEERS:  We need you!
