Join us at Metro Collision Center Friday June 1st for our

12th Annual Special Olympics Bike Run and Torch Event.

Registration begins at 4pm and the Ride leaves at 7pm.

Metro Collision is located at

Donation: $30.00 (includes t-shirt, food, live music & ride)

 If you are interested in getting involved with the Torch Run, please contact Tracy Garabedian at tracy@specialolympicsri.org.

Over 40 police and fire departments in Rhode Island, along with the Department of Corrections, Wyatt Detention Facility, RI State Police and FBI will sell Torch Run T-shirts, solicit donations and Sponsorships. In 2011, over $160,000 was raised for Special Olympics Rhode Island athletes! The fundraising goal for 2012 is to reach $200,000.

100% of the proceeds go directly to the Special Olympics!

 

  • Rhode Island is the first and only state to include Fire Departments in their Torch Run. We continue to gather support from the various fire departments state-wide.
  • Our Torch Run program continues to grow each year in participation and activity.
  • The Rhode Island Torch Run has full support from the RI Police Chiefs Association, The RI Fire Chiefs Association, The RI State Association of Firefighters, The RI State FOP, The RI Brotherhood of Correctional Officers, The Rhode Island State Police & RI Troopers Association
