The “Community Stars” challenge rewards small charitable organizations.
On November 8, 2011, Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) announced the five grand-prize winners of the Community Stars social media challenge. Mercedes dealerships from across America participated in the contest to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of local, grass-roots community service groups. This year marked the first-ever Community Stars Challenge, and the event also helped honor the 125th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz and the invention of the automobile.
