For more than nine decades The Laguna Playhouse, located in Laguna Beach, has produced a wide array of dazzling performances from musicals to comedies and everything in-between. Standing the test of time, The Laguna Playhouse has enthusiastically delivered theatrical presentations to the Southern California community. Today, under the guidance of Executive Director Karen Wood and with Artistic Director Ann Wareham, more than 100,000 theater patrons attend performances at The Playhouse each season, with countless others participating in its educational and community programming. The award-winning Laguna Playhouse Youth Theater is widely recognized for its outstanding youth education programs and has been named “Outstanding Arts Education Entity” by Arts Orange County and for its “Outstanding Contribution to Education” by the Orange County Department of Education.
Given their devotion to the arts and their community based roots, it was a
natural partnership for Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel who have proudly served Orange County for nearly 40 years. “Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel is thrilled to be associated with The Laguna Playhouse as their Season Sponsor”, explained Pat Bolter, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel, “we love their enthusiasm and passion to present incredible theatrical performances”.
This week The Playhouse announced the Season Sponsorship and their exciting 2012/2013 Main Stage Season, which offers something for everyone… a world premiere, award-winning comedy, touching tales and entertaining musicals. They’re kicking off the season in July with a trip down memory lane featuring “The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps & Gowns”, which includes iconic music from the 50’s and 60’s.
