McRee Ford to Participate in Holiday Toy Drive

McRee Ford will be holding a toy drive during the first part of December to benefit children in our community. From December 1st through Decmeber 12th, we will have an F-150 on the showroom floor to collect unwrapped toys. The toys we collect will be donated to the Church Women United in conjuction with the Empty Stocking Fund.

New capabilities expand the role of SYNC.

Ford’s new SYNC feature is expanding in its availability and its functionality. The ultra-popular in-car networking system provides voice-activated management of multiple electronic devices such as smart phones, MP3 players and other gadgets. Jointly developed by Microsoft and Ford, it is entering its second generation, SYNC 2.0.

Dickinson ISD Students in Need

DICKINSON, TEXAS, November 17, 2008… For the past two months Dickinson ISD Education Foundation along with DISD staff members have been diligently working to meet the needs of students and their families affected by Hurricane Ike. Approximately 375 students had their family homes affected and cannot live in them due to flooding and windstorm damage or other related issues. The DISD Education Foundation has been accepting donations to help these students to recover and get back on track to learn. As the holiday season approaches the DISD Education Foundation would like to ask for your help in providing Holiday gifts to students above the age 12 that were affected by the hurricane. There are local agencies that provide help to families but are very limited in helping students above age 12. We would like your help in providing for students over the age 12 that are not being helped by any other agencies especially those who have been impacted by Hurricane Ike.
