Think Inside the 2008 Porsche Boxster
There’s a Boxster for the Speed Racer in all of us.

Some believe the 2008 Porsche Boxster to be the “pure” sportscar with the engine in its proper place and the cockpit focused on winning every time you hit the road. For the rest of us, the Porsche Boxster is the most fun you can have on four wheels.

McCloud’s 61st Annual Lumberjack Fiesta
A weekend of competition all in good fun – and for a good cause!

A few weeks after the Fourth of July fireworks have subsided and the kids realize there’s only a month or so left before school starts again, northern California will keep your spirits up with its annual Lumberjack Fiesta. Held for over 50 years in the mountainous region of McCloud and Mount Shasta, this year’s festival will be on July 26 and 27 under the beautiful pine trees of Hoo Hoo Park. In celebration of McCloud’s “Lumber Town” heritage, the Fiesta includes everything from amateur logging competitions to an old-fashioned Main Street Parade. Even better, all funds benefit McCloud youth sports.

Horsepower is What You Pay For and Torque is What You Love!
So why do I feel like that’s just the “simple” definition?

The fact is almost no one can define horsepower and torque, but they know it when they feel it. There’s a reason why it takes mechanical engineers to define torque and its relationship to horsepower, much less how it is measured where it counts—at the drive wheels. It’s COMPLICATED! In fact, it is so complex that we are used to throwing around horsepower numbers and torque (in pound-feet, no less) that we can use the figures for comparison and still not have the foggiest idea what they really mean.

No one wants to take a ride in a messy car. It’s time to get your clean on!

Cut the Cake and the Costs on Your Wedding Day
Easy ways to save – and no one will ever know!

The average wedding in the United States costs about $20,000 – roughly the price of a nice, brand new car. Whether the car will last longer than the marriage is up for debate, but it will certainly last longer than that one day of bliss. While a wedding should be a day of indulgence, there’s no reason to go into debt in order to have a beautiful day of matrimony. Here’s a list of great ways to cut costs on your wedding:
