Maxxis Sweeps Top 3 Pro Modified at W.E.ROCK

Drivers on Creepy Crawlers and Trepadors rode over the competition in the Pro Modified class of W.E.ROCK’s Eastern US National series. In a clean sweep of the overall top three, Ken Blume, Danny Rohrer and Rusty Bray were first, second and third. The final event of the regular season was held July 13-15 in Rausch Creek, Pennsylvania.

Bailey Takes W.E.ROCK Western Nationals Title

After a clean sweep of all four events, Troy Bailey took W.E.ROCK’s Western US Nationals championship. Bailey locked up his title with an outstanding performance at the last regular season contest of 2007, held June 30 at the Donner Ski Ranch in California.

Health Net presented by Maxxis Wins Tour de Toona

With a victory in the seventh and final stage, Health Net/Maxxis’ Karl Menzies won the 2007 International Tour de Toona in 15:51:59 hours. Teammate Rory Sutherland took second place in the overall GC. The race was held July 23-29 in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Menzies, who also delivered wins in the second and fifth stages, said his victory was a team effort.

For 5th Straight Year, Maxxis on List of Taiwan’s Top Global Brands

Showing strong growth and employing a successful brand strategy, Maxxis has made the top ten of Interbrand’s list of Taiwan’s top global brands for the fifth consecutive year. The company was eighth in the prestigious ranking, announced July 26 in Taiwan.

Maxxis’ brand value, currently estimated at $309 million US, has increased 14% over the last year.
