Taiwan’s Top 10 Global Brands: Maxxis on List for 3rd Straight Year
 For the third consecutive year, Maxxis International has made Interbrand’s list of Taiwan’s Top 10 Global Brands. At a ceremony on October 4, the company received an award for its sixth-place ranking from the president of Taiwan, Chen Shui-Bian.
In compiling the annual list, Interbrand considered companies’ brand value using criteria including financial analysis, the relationship of branding to revenue, and overall brand strength.

Maxxis a Presence at the NOPI Nationals
 In a sign of its increasing strength in the high performance auto market, Maxxis was a prominent presence at one of the largest consumer auto shows in the world, the NOPI Nationals, held September 17-18 in Hampton, Georgia. Over 100,000 attendees could view the more than 20,000 vehicles on display at the show. With cash and prizes totaling more than $100,000, the NOPI Nationals featured seven show divisions divided into more than 300 classes.

Race after race saw the company’s sponsored riders taking the overwhelming majority of the top spots, as in the Yadkin Valley Stomp, where Maxxis took eight of the top ten places, and the Unadilla and Mountaineer events - both races in which Maxxis swept the top five.

2005 has been a great year for Maxxis, and the Dodge Tour de Georgia was one of the chief highlights. A fantastic display of world class racing, the internationally renowned contest was played out against a backdrop of gorgeous rural Georgia scenery. With Greg Henderson of Health Net/Maxxis taking the Sprint Leader jersey, teammate Gord Fraser winning the final stage and Trent Lowe of Jittery Joe’s-Kalahari named Best Young Rider, the Tour was a non-stop triumph for Maxxis.
