Dunlap is spending her last year in professional cycling as one of the Luna Chix, the team founded by Clif Bar CEO Gary Erickson in 2001. While she says that joining a brand new team –a group which by definition has no track record - is always risky, she was persuaded to become one of the first Luna Chix in part because of Erickson’s enthusiasm and determination to promote women’s sports.
