Maxxis Leads the Way in ATV Racing

Just as in every year in recent memory, riders on Razrs have swamped their competition in major ATV series. A few highlights:

  • Chris Borich leads the GNCC’s overall rankings, with five victories, including two consecutive wins in Rounds 6, 7 and 8, the Weekend Warrior Titan, Mountain Ridge and John Penton. Earlier in the season, Borich won Round 2, the Maxxis General, and Round 4, the Pirelli Big Buck.
  • Taylor Kiser is second overall in the GNCC, with outstanding finishes in Rounds 6, 7 and 8 and a victory in Round 1, the Parts Unlimited River Ranch. Kiser took third place at Round 6, fourth at Round 7 and second at Round 8.
  • Beau Baron won Rounds 4 and 5 of the WORCS series.The races were held May 3 in Milford, California and June 5-7 in Toutle, Washington.
  • Dustin Wimmer has racked up three victories in the AMA ATV Motocross Championship and holds second place overall, with 184 points.
  • The American Honda team was first across the finish line at the SCORE San Felipe 250, held March 14 in San Felipe, Mexico. Wayne Matlock, Harold Goodman and Josh Caster won the grueling race by a 15½-minute margin, taking their fourth straight victory in the series and kicking off a run for yet another SCORE championship.
  • Matlock and his team went on to a fifth SCORE victory with a win at Baja 500, held june 4-7 in Ensenada, Mexico.  The team finished first among ATVs and tenth overall in bikes and quads, riding Razrs for their entire 9:36:23-hour run.
