On or Off-Road, Drivers Ride Maxxis Straight to the Winner’s Circle

The verdict is in: Maxxis rules in motorsports. From drifting to off-road racing, riders on the brand of champions are rolling past the competition. A few highlights from recent contests:

  • Chris Forsberg won the second round of the Formula Drift series, with Ryan Tuerck in third place and Joon Maeng in fourth. The race was held May 8-9 at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia.
  • Tuerck took the victory in Formula Drift’s first round, held April 10-11 in Long Beach, California.
  • After four rounds, Robert Naughton is undefeated in the new Lucas Oil Off Road Championship series. Naughton, who races in the Unlimited Lite class, overcame a serious injury to take his string of victories, at times driving with his left foot.
  • Racing in the Pro Light class, Marty Hart won the first round of the new TORC series. The race was held May 15-16 in Fort Worth, Texas.
  • Defending champ Jesse Haines won the Unlimited class at W.E.ROCK’s Western US Nationals #2, held May 2-3 in Cedar City, Utah.
