The verdict is in: Maxxis rules in motorsports. From drifting to off-road racing, riders on the brand of champions are rolling past the competition. A few highlights from recent contests:
Chris Forsberg won the second round of the Formula Drift series, with Ryan Tuerck in third place and Joon Maeng in fourth. The race was held May 8-9 at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia.
Tuerck took the victory in Formula Drift’s first round, held April 10-11 in Long Beach, California.
After four rounds, Robert Naughton is undefeated in the new Lucas Oil Off Road Championship series. Naughton, who races in the Unlimited Lite class, overcame a serious injury to take his string of victories, at times driving with his left foot.
Racing in the Pro Light class, Marty Hart won the first round of the new TORC series. The race was held May 15-16 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Defending champ Jesse Haines won the Unlimited class at W.E.ROCK’s Western US Nationals #2, held May 2-3 in Cedar City, Utah.
