When it comes to Maxxis and SEMA, what happened in Vegas won’t stay in Vegas.
That’s because customers went home from the world’s premier automotive trade show with great info about new Maxxis products, plus terrific giveaways. The 2008 SEMA Show was held November 4-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The new Bravo 771 AT generated much interest from customers, with its new all-terrain tread design. Maxxis’ most aggressive all-terrain tire was created in response to customer demand, and early response shows that it’s destined to be a hit.
Customers also got a look at new larger sizes in ultra high performance products, including the MA-Z1, MA-Z4S and MA-S2. Larger-size versions of light truck tires including Creepy Crawlers and Trepador radials were available for preview as well.
Fans got to talk to their favorite Maxxis drivers during the show, as champions including Chris Forsberg, Dan Vanden Heuvel, Randy Eller, Pete Sohren, Jesse Haines, Rusty Bray and Nick and Phil Mazzio signed autographs. The model for Maxxis’ latest poster was also on hand to chat with visitors throughout the week. Maxxis stickers, lanyards and drink holders were hot giveaway items and were snatched up quickly by customers.
Maxxis staff on-hand for the show noted that the company’s booth was popular despite lower overall traffic at SEMA. “Although the attendance was down a good bit, the quality of those visitors that did visit the Maxxis booth was very good,” said Brandon Bentley, sales representative for Maxxis automotive department. Staff members are busy following up with contacts made at the show, and are looking forward to another year of providing Maxxis customers with the best in high-quality products.
