Wade Wins LG Action Sports World Championships BMX Street Contest
A native of the Lone Start state, Morgan Wade proved that other BMXers shouldn’t mess with Texas when he won the LG Action Sports World Championships BMX Street competition, held November 11 in Dallas.
Morgan rode to victory with the Holy Roller 20x2.20 on the front and the Grifter 20x1.85 prototype on the back. After qualifying third, he clinched his victory during his second run with a score of 91.50.
"I figured if I stayed on my bike I would have a pretty good chance, so I basically tried to pull everything. I figured if I got the rail I'd be good to go, and I did. It always feels amazing to actually stick everything in a run and come out the other side still rolling," Morgan told lgactionsports.com. "I knew it was going to be close. I didn't know for sure until the score came out. I was crossing my fingers. I could definitely feel that everyone was excited because I was from around here. It seemed to get a little louder when I was riding. It fueled the fire a little bit. It felt great."
Maxxis congratulates Morgan Wade on his victory and thanks him for choosing the brand of champions.
