Robert de Wilde has won the Elite Men’s 2007 UCI BMX Supercross series. de Wilde went into the final race, held October 12-13 at Roc d’Azur Frejus, France, with a substantial overall lead and easily took the title despite an eighth place finish.

de Wilde racked up 46 points during the season, finishing a full 11 points ahead of his closest competitor. Riding Holy Rollers front and rear, the Dutch native took second place at the series’ previous races in Madrid, Beijing and Salt Lake City.
