Mirra, Napolitan Take X Games Medals

The legendary Dave Mirra and legend-in-the-making Anthony Napolitan each took medals at X Games 13, held August 2-5 in Los Angeles, California.

Riding the Maxxis Miracle he designed, Mirra delivered an outstanding performance in BMX Park, earning a final score of 88.00 and a bronze medal. EXPN.com praised the veteran athlete: “Trick-for-trick, he can still win a game of B-M-X against the teenagers who learn flips and whips as their basics these days.”

Napolitan took a bronze in BMX Big Air with tricks that included a double tire grab to an outstretched no-handed front-flip, which EXPN.com called “spectacular.” To win his medal, Napolitan relied on the Holy Roller 20x2.20 on the front and a Miracle 20x1.85 on the rear.

Morgan Wade also turned in crowd-pleasing runs in BMX Big Air, earning fourth place despite a mishap which involved a drop of 21 feet.

Maxxis congratulates Dave Mirra and Anthony Napolitan on their latest X Games medals and thanks Morgan Wade for his fine performance.
