Maxxis Sweeps Top 3 Pro Modified at W.E.ROCK
Drivers on Creepy Crawlers and Trepadors rode over the competition in the Pro Modified class of W.E.ROCK’s Eastern US National series. In a clean sweep of the overall top three, Ken Blume, Danny Rohrer and Rusty Bray were first, second and third. The final event of the regular season was held July 13-15 in Rausch Creek, Pennsylvania.
Blume and Rohrer had both racked up 389 points during the series, while Bray was a close third with 386 points. Blume’s greater number of victories during the season was the tie-breaking factor in his overall win.
Jessie Haines, who won the Unlimited class at Rausch Creek, was pleased with both his performance and his Maxxis tires. “The courses were just our style, and luckily we were able to capitalize on it," he told we-rock.cc after the event. "Our tires hooked up great; transferring from manmade to natural terrain was no issue for us." Haines is third in overall standings for the Unlimited class.
Maxxis congratulates all of these drivers on their fine performances throughout W.E.ROCK’s regular season. The W.E.ROCK Grand National Championship is scheduled for September 15-16 in Fort Worth, Texas, and the W.E.ROCK World Championship is slated for January 25-27, 2008 in Sydney, Australia.
