Maxxis Dominates WPSA ATV Series

In the WPSA ATV series, Maxxis rules: the company sponsors the top five riders in overall point standings.
Just two points separate the top two racers in the SuperQuad Pro 450 class. John Natalie holds the lead, with 303 points after eight rounds. Dustin Wimmer, who held the lead from the second through the seventh rounds, is hot on the Ironman’s heels with 301 points. Chad Wienen, who won Round 8, is third overall, while Doug Gust is fourth and Keith Little rounds out the top five.
At Round 8, the AMSOIL Wild Cat Open Championship, held July 21-22 in Rossville, Indiana, Natalie took second place and the overall lead in points. He told wsaracing.com that he’s happy to have recovered from serious injuries earlier this year: "I was busted up pretty bad. I had a torn sternum, as well as ACL and MCL injuries. We just kept fighting. I rode through the pain, we came back, and now we're in the points lead--which is where we belong. This takes a lot of heart. I don't have time to do anything else. All day long, I just work on bikes and ride. I eat, sleep and breathe racing, and now it's starting to pay off."
Natalie’s comeback began with a resounding victory at the GBC Virginia National, held June 29 – July 1 in Petersburg, Virginia.
Chris Borich, who’s in a tight race with seven-time champ Bill Ballance for the GNCC title, took his fifth WPSA victory of the year at Rossville. Borich is fifth in overall WPSA standings.

The next WPSA ATV race is scheduled for August 18-19 in Englishtown, New Jersey. For more information on the series, please visit wsaracing.com.
