Hart Wins WSORR Round 2

Marty Hart’s move from rock crawling to the World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) has paid off, as he stormed the podium in the first two races of the season. Hart followed an amazing second place finish in Round 1 with an even more incredible first place in Round 2. The races were held May 19-20 in Owatonna, Minnesota.

“Just to be able to go out there and race with the best of the best was the highlight for me. All we needed to do was to survive the first few corners…In this sport, those first few corners are just horrendous. We got the breaks we needed and were just able to jump out front,” Hart told Maxxis.

In both Saturday’s hardpack and Sunday’s mud, Hart’s Bighorn radials delivered the performance he needed to get to the podium. “They were awesome,” he said. “They hooked up. They performed in both applications.”

Brad Williams of Maxxis’ automotive department expressed his confidence in Hart. “When Marty came to us last year and said he would like to run the WSORR series instead of rock crawling, we didn’t hesitate to offer him sponsorship. After seeing him compete first-hand last year and witnessing his competitiveness and dedication, we aren’t surprised he’s already at the top of his new sport,” Williams said.

Maxxis congratulates Marty Hart and thanks him for choosing the brand of champions.
