With an indoor booth plus a fantastic outdoor off-road display, Maxxis was a strong presence at the 2006 SEMA Show, held October 31 – November 3 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The unveiling of the new Ultra High Performance All-Season Z4S, along with presentations of several UHP prototypes, served as an impressive complement to the Maxxis MA-Z1 Victra and MA-V1 UHP products, creating lots of buzz – and heavy traffic.
Maxxis customers and prospects also praised the massive display at SEMA’s off-road proving ground, which featured the Maxxis support rig and trailer, plus a large entourage of rock crawlers, CORR, SCORE and other Maxxis-sponsored off-road vehicles.
The indoor booth offered just as much excitement, with the McMullen and Bell trophy truck and the Jasper Performance drift car among the attractions.
“This is the best show we’ve ever had. It’s gratifying to have received so many positive comments from our customers and other visitors to our booths. We’ve come a long way. Five years ago, Maxxis was a virtual unknown in off-road racing. Today, I think we are considered to be one of the top players. It’s been a real team effort, and we are fortunate to have so many great sponsored teams. We intend to take the same approach with the High Performance market. I think the quality of Maxxis’ products is no longer an industry secret. We’re definitely on the right track,” said Maxxis Passenger/LT Sales Manager Doug Addis.
Maxxis’ staff enjoyed meeting with hundreds of customers and distributors. Visitors got great Maxxis swag, including posters signed by Maxxis models, lanyards, hoodies, hats, and shirts, all sporting the Maxxis logo. Check out photos of this year's show at Maxxis.com.
