Kabush Sets Record in Men’s ST with Win at NORBA #2
Champion rider Geoff Kabush can add another line to his already impressive resume: a NORBA record for men’s short track wins. The Team Maxxis member took his record-breaking tenth victory in short track at NORBA Nationals #2. The race was held June 11 at Sugar Mountain in Banner Elk, North Carolina.

In the lead group of four from the beginning of the contest, Kabush pushed ahead in the last lap, providing spectators with a thrilling conclusion. As he told velonews.com, “I took the lead on the climb, and then Jeremy caught up on the downhill. I passed him again during one of the last chicanes and was just hanging on there for the last few seconds. It was pretty exciting." Kabush rides the MaxxLite 310, the lightest 26" knobby tire in the world. With a specially formulated rubber compound and lightweight casing, it’s the perfect tire for extreme acceleration on hard, dry surfaces.

Maxxis congratulates the always-amazing Geoff Kabush on his latest triumph, and thanks him for proving that Maxxis is the brand of champions.
