Maxxis MiniMoto SX!
In the world of minimoto, the first Friday in May is the biggest day of year. That’s because it’s the day set aside for the annual Maxxis MiniMoto SX.

A crowd estimated at nearly 7000 watched the action at this year’s race, which took place May 5 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. With more than 560 racers from 10 countries and 21 US states, the event is considered the largest and most popular race of its kind in the world.

The podiums were crowded with champions who chose Maxxis, including Jan Pontanilla, first place in MMW; Drew Petrie, first place in MM12A and second place in MM10A; Maria Forsberg, second place in MMW; Kevin Popaeko, second place in MM12A and MM35+; and Sean Finley, third place in MM35+.

It’s no coincidence that these winners rode Maxxis’ MaxxCross IT: With its specially constructed knob design offering smooth handling, plus a rubber compound which provides extra stability and grip, the MaxxCross IT is perfect for minimoto competition.

Maxxis is proud to sponsor this fantastic event.
