Wherever You Went at the 2006 Indy Show, Maxxis Was There
Maxxis was omnipresent at the 2006 Indy Show: because all visitors to the three-day event received a double-sided Maxxis lanyard at the door, the company’s name could be seen everywhere in the Indiana Convention Center & RCA Dome.

Held February 18-20 in Indianapolis, the Dealernews International Powersports Dealer Expo is the largest trade show of its kind in the world for dealers, distributors and manufacturers of aftermarket powersports products. Many of the more than 21,000 attendees stopped by the Maxxis booth, where they could get posters signed by featured models Krystina, Leticia and Michelle. Maxxis’ sponsored riders Bill Ballance, John Natalie and Matt Burton were there as well, meeting with fans and signing autographs.

High-volume traffic was also drawn to Maxxis by Mickey Dunlap’s electric orange 900cc Kawasaki Brute Force mud machine, on display at the booth. The behemoth was outfitted with the baddest-looking mud tire on the planet, the Maxxis Mudzilla. Visitors stopped to look and posed for photos on the eye-catching vehicle, which generated enormous interest in the Mudzilla model and other Maxxis products.

Company officials say that the show was an overall success for Maxxis – and they’ve already begun planning for new surprises at next year’s booth. For a look at more than 30 images from this year’s show, check out the Photo Gallery.
