Team Maxxis Aims High for ‘06
Maxxis is proud to continue its support of Team Maxxis, one of the top mountain biking teams in the United States.
For two years running, Geoff Kabush has taken the NORBA short track and cross country titles and the Canadian National Championship. Teammate John Kirkcaldie won the 2005 New Zealand National Championships in both downhill and four cross and finished third in the NORBA downhill series overall. The third member of this cycling powerhouse, Mathieu Toulouse, is the Quebec provincial cross country champion and has won several Canada Cup races. Kabush, Kirkcaldie, and Toulouse are aided by the efforts of manager and head mechanic Gary Wolff, mechanic Adam McGrath, and soigneur Miranda Legge.
The members of Team Maxxis are defending titles at Sea Otter and NORBA as well as national titles in 2006, and World Cup races are also on their packed schedule. Team Maxxis is also sponsored by Turner Suspension Bicycles, Fox Racing Shox, Cateye, Sun Ringle, Hayes Disc Brakes, Lazer Helmets, Jagwire, SDG, and Fender.
