WCVDTS Wraps Up Thrilling Year
It’s official: Racing fans can let their pulses return to normal – at least until next year. The West Coast Vintage Dirt Track Series has wrapped up another thrilling season of motorcycle action. Promoter Eddie Mulder’s eight-race series, which featured events in Nevada and Washington as well as California, ended October 23.
One of the younger racers offered some of the best action in the series, holding his own against GNC pros: Racing as an amateur because of his age, 15-year-old Stevie Bonsey won the AMA Horizon Award – and a $4000 check from the Maxxis Pro Point Fund. Bonsey, who competed in the Digger Pro 600 class, plans to turn pro himself on his 16th birthday in this month.
Maxxis is proud to have sponsored the WCVDTS and congratulates everyone involved on an exciting year.
