At SEMA 2005, the Story Was Maxxis
For aftermarket automotive products, the 2005 SEMA Show was the place to be – and Maxxis was right in the middle of all the action, with a high-traffic booth, three vehicles and an exciting new product on display.
Held October 31-November 3 in Las Vegas, Nevada, this year’s show drew more than 50,000 buyers, according to semashow.com. Many of those visitors took in Maxxis’ new 22” version of the MA-S2 Marauder, the high performance tire for light trucks and SUV’s introduced earlier this year. With its unidirectional tread pattern, specially designed rim protector and jointless nylon tread cap, along with two polyester body plies, the MA-S2 is built to last and ready to handle any weather conditions.
Visitors were also impressed by the three Maxxis vehicles: a fully-moded Scion TC with 225/40R18 MA-Z1’s; a competition rockcrawler with 40x13.50-17 Creepy Crawlers; and a class 7 Baja truck with 35x12.50R15 Bighorns.
