Maxxis a Presence at the NOPI Nationals
In a sign of its increasing strength in the high performance auto market, Maxxis was a prominent presence at one of the largest consumer auto shows in the world, the NOPI Nationals, held September 17-18 in Hampton, Georgia. Over 100,000 attendees could view the more than 20,000 vehicles on display at the show. With cash and prizes totaling more than $100,000, the NOPI Nationals featured seven show divisions divided into more than 300 classes.
Maxxis representatives appreciated the attention garnered by the Maxxis race support rig, which was on display in Tire Row, a high-traffic area. The company also exhibited three vehicles, outfitted variously with Victra MA-Z1's and Trepadors. The Victra, an ultra high-performance radial, and the Trepador, an extreme off-road tire, are both state-of-the-art models introduced during the past year by Maxxis. Visitors were also treated to lots of Maxxis swag, including lanyards and autographed posters. View photos from the event in the Maxxis Photo Gallery.
The success of this year’s exhibit has led Maxxis’ auto department to plan for an even stronger presence at the 2006 NOPI show - and fans of high-quality cars and tires can’t wait ‘til next year.
