Clowers and Adams Take Medals for Maxxis
Maxxis hit the podium at X Games 11, as Tommy Clowers took the gold and Nate Adams added two bronze medals to his collection.

Clowers was the only rider to reach 32’ in the Moto X Step UP finals, according to EXPN.com, soaring above the expectations of fans and the press. "Nobody really talked to me or did interviews with me before the event,” Clowers told EXPN. “I didn't mind because it took some pressure off me." Clowers is no stranger to the X Games podium, having taken the gold from 2000-2002, the silver in 2003 and the bronze in 2004.

Adams also did well for Maxxis, finishing just two seconds behind the winner in the Moto X Freestyle. A true champion, he took third place despite a painful mishap – he broke a toe during the prelim. Two days earlier, Adams had shined in Moto X Best Trick, taking the bronze in that contest as well. According to EXPN, his two clean 360’s from the 75-foot ramp sealed the deal for third place. Like Clowers a veteran of the X Games, Adams has won more than his share of medals, including gold at the 2003 Gravity Games.

Look for more great moto action from both these riders as they compete in the Dew Action Sports Tour at venues across the country, riding MaxxCross IT’s all the way.
