Michelle Kwan Visits Maxxis U.S. Headquarters
One day after her spectacular performance with Champions on Ice at Atlanta’s Philips Arena, Michelle Kwan paid a visit to Maxxis’ North American headquarters. Kwan’s multi-year endorsement of Maxxis was announced in January.

In a tour lasting more than an hour, Kwan met with management and staff and posed for photos at the Suwanee, Georgia facility. The visit included a screening of the company video and a stop at the showroom for a look at new Maxxis products. Maxxis officials were pleased to welcome Kwan, and reported that she was gracious and charming throughout her visit. Images of Kwan’s tour can be seen in the Media Gallery section of Maxxis.com by the end of the week.

The most decorated figure skater in U.S. history, Kwan has won five World Championships and eight consecutive and nine overall U.S. National Championships. She has also won two Olympic medals, a silver in 1998 and a bronze in 2002, and will compete in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. Kwan’s most recent victory came at the Marshalls U.S. Skating Challenge, held in Tampa, Florida March 29.

Maxxis is proud to be endorsed by this internationally renowned and phenomenally accomplished athlete.
