Maxxis Sponsors Off-Road Racing Team
Maxxis has entered the world of off-road racing in a big way by sponsoring Championship Motorsports, a team with an exciting schedule for 2005.

The team’s three trucks will each compete in a separate series: the Class 7 Ford Ranger in the SCORE series, which includes the Baja 1000 and the Baja 500; the Class 8 Chevy 1500 in the Mojave Desert Racing (MDR) series, which includes both the California and the Superstition series; and the Pro Lite Chevy S10 in the CORR series. Championship Motorsports will compete in a total of 24 professional races during the season.

The drivers who will deliver all this racing action are both seasoned pros. “Rockit” Raul Flores has overcome a broken back, sustained in 1999 during a promotional event, to return to racing beginning in 2002. He took second place in that year’s Xtreme International Short Course Series and also finished well in 2004. Flores, who owns an off-road lift shop, will drive in the MDR and the SCORE series.

Randy Eller, who will compete in the CORR series, started racing off-road more than 20 years ago. With numerous wins and strong finishes to his credit, he’s sure to rack up additional victories this year.

Be sure to visit www.maxxis.com throughout the season for updates on Championship Motorsports.
