It’s a big rig made into a comfortable motor home. And ten months out of the year, it’s traveling the country, supporting Maxxis’ drivers and their many fans.
The new Maxxis automotive support truck made its debut in February, driven by former Maxxis Rockstar Creighton King. With amenities galore, the 43-foot Freightliner-based motor home, powered by a 500 horsepower Detroit engine, has something for everyone.
A spacious, comfortable driver’s lounge where Maxxis’ sponsored riders can relax and escape the elements is also the perfect spot for fans to meet their favorites. Visitors can pick up Maxxis gear at the rig, including t-shirts, hats, and posters.
A 42-inch plasma TV on the outside of the truck lets fans watch Maxxis videos and learn more about the company and its products. And to really demonstrate what Maxxis is all about, King carries a generous supply of tires, along with a tire machine, welder, and compressor. Alongside the rig, Maxxis also features a 62-foot awning-covered display and pit area at auto events.
Starting in April, the truck was joined by a 36-foot trailer. And King, who was one of Maxxis’ first sponsored rock crawlers back in 2003, brings his CJ7 competition jeep to events as a display vehicle.
The next time you attend a rock crawling event, look for Creighton King and the Maxxis rig!
