An important international transportation hub, Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport handles over 40 million passengers every year – and now those travelers have the chance to hear about Maxxis.
Taking aggressive steps in its global branding efforts, Maxxis has placed a billboard and a 30-second commercial in the airport’s Vision Square. Maxxis joins advertisers such as Tommy Hilfiger and Heineken as a prominent presence in the heavily-trafficked square.
An estimated 24 million pedestrians a year pass through Vision Square. From 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, the Maxxis commercial airs four times per hour on a huge 435-square-foot screen. The Maxxis billboard is also a constant presence at the square.
The company’s increased visibility doesn’t stop there: eleven Maxxis billboards are also in place at strategic locations at London’s Heathrow Airport.
The signs at Heathrow, like the Vision Square presence, are part of a long-term branding effort by Maxxis. The company has also announced plans for advertising at airports in Paris, Hamburg, Melbourne, and other major international terminals.
