In October, Maxxis products received spectacular ratings from consumers, according to several surveys. Results listed in five widely-read cycling magazines placed Maxxis at or near the top of categories related to quality and consumer confidence.
Maxxis was the top vote-getter in the “Tires Bought” category for Mountain Bike Action, beating out 14 other tire brands listed in the survey. Readers of BMX Plus! also rated Maxxis the top “Brand of Tires Owned,” with the company receiving twice as many votes as its closest competitor.
The company strengthened its showing in Bicycling Magazine, when its tires made two lists – seventh of the “Top 10 Road Tire Brands Owned” and sixth of the “Top 10 Road Tire Brands Plan to Buy” - for the first time. Maxxis also improved its ranking for off-road tires over 2002, the last year the survey was conducted. Bicycling Magazine’s list highlighting consumers’ intent to buy had Maxxis tied for fourth place.
When Ride BMX asked consumers to choose a brand of replacement tire, Maxxis came in second among readers who expressed a preference. Maxxis was ranked first among consumers who elected to choose a replacement brand in TransWorld BMX.
With ongoing input from sponsored riders, the constant fine-tuning of Maxxis’ engineers, and an attentive eye for the needs of its customers, the company’s tires are consistently the best on the market. Maxxis is pleased to be recognized by the consumers it serves, and plans to continue to provide cyclists with a wide variety of state-of-the-art, high quality tires.
