Maxxis sponsored riders Mike Penland and Bill Ballance have both enjoyed long racing careers. Along the way, Ballance has earned four GNCC titles and Mike has racked up ten.
At the Mountaineer GNCC in Sommersville, West Virginia, September 25th, Penland and Ballance each added yet another GNCC title to their already impressive resumes. While Penland claimed an unprecedented 11th GNCC Utility Stock Class title, Ballance was busy putting the wraps on his fifth consecutive GNCC Pro Class Championship.
Each rider has worked incredibly hard throughout his career and Maxxis would like to recognize both competitors’ achievements. “Maxxis is extremely proud of both Mike’s and Bill’s continued success on the track. They are both outstanding individuals and represent Maxxis in the best way possible. We would like to congratulate them on another incredible season,” said Marketing Coordinator Thad Josey.
