Team Maxxis and Maxxis’ sponsored riders have ended the NORBA season with an impressive finish. Riding Maxxis products to victory, the four-member team managed two first place titles and a fourth place win. The company’s sponsored riders also took several places on the podium for the overall series. The final races of the NORBA season took place in Durango, CO, August 29.

After a season which showcased both his athletic skill and his determination to overcome even the most serious challenges, team member Geoff Kabush claimed first place in the series in the cross country and short track categories. The final cross country race which secured his title offered almost as much excitement as previous events, as Kabush steadily increased his lead and crossed the finish line to win both the day’s race and the title.

Defending his 2003 title, Maxxis’ sponsored rider Greg Minnaar did an outstanding job in the downhill, triumphing over a rough, dusty course to win both the race and first place for the season. This year’s NORBA downhill championship is Minnaar’s fourth career title.

Maxxis is extremely proud of its sponsored riders, and congratulates all of these athletes on an incredible season.
