MassWIT 2003 Intiatives

Dear Members of MassWIT,

Happy Holidays. I am pleased to say that MassWIT has come into its own in 2002!

We have tremendous momentum and there is a buzz and energy level at our meetings that is exciting to be a part of. I have enjoyed meeting you at our monthly meetings and working with so many of you who are volunteering on one of our various Committees. MassWIT just would not be all that it is today without your contributions and enthusiasm. Just look what we have planned for next year.

  • Large monthly educational/professional networking meetings
  • Quarterly Senior Executive Women events
  • An annual women’s leadership conference
  • Bi-monthly e-newsletter
  • A young girls & teen job fair
  • A teen mentoring program
  • A professional women’s speaker database

Holidays Greetings and wishes of a Happy New Year from all of us at MassWIT to all of you.

Suzanne Zellner, MassWIT Executive Director

Public Relations Committee Update
Making MassWIT work for you is part publicity

The PR Committee has been working on good press for MassWIT and attracting committee membership. It has succeeded in both. Read all about it.
November and October MassWIT Meetings

"Structured Networking: the Rules of Engagement" was the subject of Bonnie Worthley's session which was held in table groups at the November meeting. The senior career management consultant, pictured left, of Right Management Consultants, helped meeting participants formulate a job-search strategy by giving the right information to and asking the right questions of hiring prospects.

MassWIT's October meeting featured Dr. Lila Kirschbaum, right, who gave her presentation on High Performers, speaking to the needs of the unemployed (how to appear to be a high performance employee either via a bio, resume, or interview), the company employed (how to hire high performance employees, how to be a high performance employee), and the self employed (how to present yourself as a high performer).
