MassWIT will host three events in June.

A New Formula for Leadership, a panel discussion.
We could have only 200 people at our March Women's Leadership conference and for the other 2,800 of you, you missed the event of the year. In response to popular demand, we have invited one of the outstanding panels in the Leadership track to come to MassWIT's June event and talk about A NEW FORMULA FOR LEADERSHIP.
2003 is the year to find your niche, take charge of your career and find the fulfillment you seek. Learn from experts who have navigated their careers through the most adverse scenarios, and found rich experiences as they uncovered new opportunities for professional and personal growth.

Our featured speakers include: Diane Darling, President Effective Networking, Kathleen Elliot, Partner 8 wings enterprises, Holly Fletcher Founder Capital Venue, Paige Arnof-Fenn, Founder Moguls and Mavens, Dora Wang, Managing Partner Altura Partners

Thursday, June 5, 6 - 8:30 p.m. Sun Microsystems Burlington Campus. http://www.sun.com/corp_emp/boston/map.html

***A Celebration***

Wine Tasting and Networking.

MassWIT had a fabulous year marked by incredible growth in membership, significant support from national and local sponsors, support from Sun Microsystems that enabled MassWIT to have one location for our events all year, and numerous initiatives that were launched in the past 12 months including: Spectrums, MassWIT's monthly e-newsletter; MassWIT e-mentors program; MassWIT Women Leadership conference; and MassWIT Exec Roundtable.

To celebrate a fabulous year we are going to host a wine tasting for MassWIT members the third week in June.

Stay tuned for the details and registration info.

Become a MassWIT volunteer.
MassWIT has really generated a lot of buzz and terrific interest from professional women in the past 12 months.

We now have over 3,000 members!

I would like to encourage our new and old members to get more out of your MassWIT membership by becoming actively involved as a volunteer. It is a great way to build your network, keep your skills current and learn new skills.

Every June and July I hold organizing meetings for MassWIT volunteers. This year the June event will be Wednesday, June 18 at 6:30 pm in the lobby bar at the Westin Hotel off of Route 128 in Waltham. I would like to share with you my vision for MassWIT and how you can help us grow the organization. It will be great to meet you all and to talk about how we can pull together to take MassWIT to the next level. All creative people and ideas are welcome!

We will need volunteers in many areas and if you do not have an expertise in one of the areas below, but are interested and willing to help out, that would be great! I generally ask volunteers who are interested in leading a committee to make a one-year commitment. That year is up for several of our committee chairs so we have openings for MassWIT members who would like to flex or develop their leadership muscles! If you would like to chair or co-chair a committee please contact me directly at szellner@attbi.com, otherwise I hope you will come on Wednesday, June 18.

MassWIT needs people who are interested in or have an expertise in the following areas:
- Membership
- Volunteers
- Events
- MarCom
- SPECTRUMS, the e-Newsletter
- Sponsorship
- Communications/PR
- e-Mentoring
- Women's Leadership conference
- Graphics
- Web site
- Partnerships

Please RSVP and let me know if you are interested in getting more involved and able to join us. We are able to have only between 15 to 20 people at a time in this space so I may have several meetings with folks who are interested in specific areas.

Thanks,
Suzanne Zellner, Executive Director MassWIT
